Did you know that the green turtle is called so not because its outer appearance is green but rather it's due to the greenish colour of its cartilage and fat in a layer between its shell and inner organs? This chill fellow can be seen swimming in Sabah's waters and nesting in our beaches. It's one of Sabah's many underwater treasures and rightfully so due to its endangered status.
